Final Predictions: Who shall die in 4.0

We are days away from early access. Five days to be specific. We have seen all the trailers and one thing is certain. It's gonna be bloody. The launch trailer basically said: We wen't into Ala Mhigo thinking it will be easy to liberate our former enemies from a guy who is bad news according to Ilberd's body double, only for said guy(Zenos) to hand us our unadjustable backsides.

In 4.0 it was Haurchefant and Ysayle. Who is it going to be now? And how many?

Yshtola: You have seen the trailers, right? It seem obvious. Plus we have known since 3.0 that her days are numbered.

Lyse: Her sister died trying to rescue a little girl from the Garleans. Will she do the same?

Krile: Between the Revolution music video and the launch trailer she has exactly two scenes. One of them shows her with closed eyes and being locked away by magitec doors.

Thancred: A single repeated moment in both trailers after not being in the last patch. Last time he was absent for so long without explanation he got himself a nice new necklace.

Urianger: Also not showing up much. And since his job now is: play the Ascians for chumps, he needs a pretty good life insurance.

Gosetsu: Doesn't do much in the trailer beside having the secondary antagonist stomp on his head and sitting down in a way that looks a lot like prepairing to do harakiri.

Yugiri: Has a 1 on 1 duel with Zenos. That's bad for your health. Also her lord might cut her down if she fails her job.

Alphinaud: Suspiciously absent for most of the time. Alisaie starts being more active, which he tried very hard to avoid so far. Could he have died when he piushed Alisaie away from that attack?

Alisaie: Did you see all that blood?

Aymeric: He reeeeealy wants to make up for Ishgard not helping the Eorzean Alliance. Might do something stupid.

Raubahn: He is fighting to liberate his homeland. The perfect cause to give your life to. Ilberd also did it. He is great warrior but he only has one arm.

Tataru: Basically the only one without any particular reason to die. So the least expected.

As long as we don't get fake outs again...Heavensward was full of them.... We know y'stola is going to be at least badly wounded from the launch trailer. But I sit with Mr Happy in the she's the poster kitty for the game so there not going to kill her off but she may be out of action for most of main story maybe.

'Yda' as in the persona not the character.

my strongest bet is Gosetsu as both launch and revolutions give the idea that he will become a pow and may be executed.

krile i picture doing something similar to the npc from crystal towers maybe?

other then that i wouldn't take lack of appearance in the launch trailer and revolution as a death mark. mainly because we know all the advertising has general focus on Lyse so the lack of other scions just show there not playing a large role.

And for that reason it would be the most impactful is she died.
Just imagine. She comes to greet us (or something) and when we see each others across the road she gets shot/stabed/crushed by an ambush or something, before our very eyes and we can't do anything to stop it.
She had done nothing wrong. She was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yeah that's the idea. Imagine all the bad karma Zenos would get if he cut down the only non-evil Lalafel in all of Eorzea. Sephiroth will be all: "Teach me, master"

I'd laugh. Tataru imo is the most annoying and pointless character in the story.
