Plan on staying with WAR unless they have some nasty changes waiting for us. To be honest I am worried, I just believe most WAR who read your post agree and therefor see no point in adding more to it. Further the build from which this info comes is an old build so beside my one post earlier in this thread I have hold of from saying to much, still that is the only info we have which makes it the only info we can base our concerns on which me must voice if we have them, hoping that SE will change the worst things if they have not already done so.

So the points of a midcore war bases in the info we have.
Onslaught: It cost more then it is worth. Lower the cost to 10 or increase the cooldown to 30sec while removing the cost. If it remains as is I would use it very rarely.
Shake it off: It will either give us an unfair advantage over the other tanks or be useless depending on how they design the fights, due to this I think it will be useless. It is also a boring skill to get at lvl68, pld and drk both get something nice... it is like christmas and mother SE is giving her tank children their gifts both the drk and pld get the latest console while the war get a pair of socks... sure you can use the socks but we want something fun.
To me those two skills are the ones that either have been changed or has to be changed, onslaught can be changed by moving numbers while shake it off is worse. If feels like we on our way to lvl70 will get two skills most of us will ignore leaving us with just two new skills in our toolkit.

The stance switch penalty is way worse than those two skills. They're probably going to be niche but aren't really detrimental. The stance penalty will make dungeons as war clunky as fuck.

Yeah, that's definitely a concern going in to early access (soon™).

Right now, I use WAR almost exclusively as my tank of choice for dungeons.

I hope this doesn't completely ruin my enjoyment of tanking dungeons on WAR (or that the devs have seen the light in the meantime and reduced the penalty since the media tour build).

Same. I don't care if WAR is literally the worst class to bring to a raid, that'd be a shame, but I can suck that up and bring a PLD/DRK for the 1% of my gametime that I spend raiding. But I spend at least 60% of my time in this game in dungeons, and if this stance dancing change hits early access, it's going to severely hamper my desire to keep playing FFXIV past 4.0. There're other jobs, obviously, but part of the reason I loved WAR was the self-sustain and the fluid satisfying gameplay that I don't really feel with other jobs, it'd be such a shame if they threw it away for the 6 fell-cleaves meme.
