Honestly, the glamour system we have right now is so horrible, that... no. It would not be better to keep it and add onto it. It needs a complete revamp.

This may be true from an implementation standpoint. I think its best they start with the system we have. Eventually however, I think this game needs to join other modern MMOs and improve upon its current, rather archaic, system.

While I don't disagree about the glamour system needing significant improvement (especially regarding different appearances for gear shared between multiple jobs), that's really a separate concern from the glamour log, which is about storing gear appearances (regardless of how they're then used).

While I'd like to eventually get both improvements, I think the log is the higher priority between them given the game's level of inventory bloat, especially among those of us who like to collect glamour while also pursuing other inventory-intensive aspects of the game like crafting and fishing.
