That's an interesting jump in logic. My question, though. Does the trial drop something usable in combat, or is it just something for fun, in your scenario?I'm gonna drag this thread down I think:
so by this line of reasoning, if they opted to keep a Trial fight behind Mogstation, we wouldn't have any right to complain because it's completely optional and doesn't impact the game/make it pay to win?
Keeping things that could be in the game out of it does in fact change the game, we're losing out on the game that could have been, see?
to keep it in line with how they implement Mogstation right now, it would be 'for fun' and wouldn't drop anything.
I'm thinking if they like put the new Hildebrand behind a paywall, how upset would people get who aren't peeved by the current implementation. 'Course Hildebrand has orchestrion rolls and glamour and stuff so it's not a fair comparison, but I think it's an interesting way to put the question to some people.
The cash shop will never go away, you don't need anything there, if you don't like it don't buy it, the rest of us will continue spending money there to support the game, [insert reasoning that has been said 10000 times before], etc etc.
