At this point, no fix applied on the windows 10 creator's update is working. Can anyone check to see if this is happening on anything pre-creator's update windows 10?

Yes, I've been getting these occasionally too and I don't even have Windows 10, still running 7 on my rig.

That's a bummer. I wonder what the problem is at this point. I did a factory reset, removed my card, reinstalled it, everything's been re-downloaded and it's still happening... yet every other game still plays fine, so. At this point it's definitely a game client program, at least for me.

Exactly my thoughts as well. I play plenty of other DX11 games and the only one giving me "Fatal DirectX Error" is FFXIV, so my bets are on poor programming in their DX11 client.
