I made it bravely through 10 pages of absolute nonsense, I should get a medal, sadly I can't read the other 10 pages... I hope people understand.

My question is, why are we trying to ping servers that are offline. Why are we ping'ing the lobby out of all options available? but this is the main question, why do we ping them at all? At least some people tried explaining the difference between ping and packet loss, and yet people still sit here complaining about their ping of an server that's offline and the location is still unknown. Please keep going.

That's correct and I apologize for using the word offline, I didn't think that giving a page long analysis about the servers and their current re location would have been appreciated. I kept it simple, but if you like we can have a more advanced discussion over this topic.
