Directed at thread title: How does CA make sense. Why would they not choose a central area that is better for everyone in the NA Datacenters? How does this make ANY more sense than Canada Square Enix. EXPLAIN please.

Also hopefully the title to the thread is wrong because that would be just as stupid as a move as Canada was.

If it truely is in CA Im pretty sure a majority of my FC will be moving to an EU server. Just need to figure out which one..

Better network connections? Geographic location is very much of secondary importance compared to how the datacenter is connected to the rest of the world.

Infrastructure upgrade. They had to move. This decision wasn't taken on a whim. It's a long term investment.
They probably had multiple options and had to take the best compromise without just considering location as the only weight on the balance.
