Please link the actual clause in the ToS that validates this and not your interpretation of what is a ToS violation.ToS violation, I find it amusing people try defend themselves when they are in clear violation. If you are sitting at portal, doing nothing while they get aggro, and esp if they ask for help, you ignore this, it is a ToS violation and a valid kick, me and my friend kicked people for this. (esp with her call macros). It is called not precipitating. not sure why you even asked that, when I did explain it already.
Your first post also suggests you are kick abusing at times, and you can be reported on that as well.
And two options for regular DF while you're at it:
Slow and Steady
Speedrun
Kinda like they ended up making Trials of the Fury and Trials of the Matron (although they could've separated those even better).
I'm not to sure how practical it would be for normal dungeons tbh - but yes, just like they've seperated the Diadem-queues and how we have RF for EX-trials and raids
Well, that would depend on whether people read what the option entails or not. But it's simply a fact that there's friction in regular DF as well because some people would rather run efficiently while others want a more relaxed approach, without mass-pulling, people looking at their rotation or caring whether the healer does DPS or not. It's similar to farm parties and the whole "no bonus" shebums people like from Raid Finder.
It's not doable for queues where there's very little traffic in the first place, but something like expert, yeah, it'd work there.
Well, first... expecting people to read something in this game? And understand it? I'm not to sure how well that would work, honestly - thinking about all the PF-farm-parties that disband because someone didnt understand what "NO BONUS" means...
Which leads me to the second problem I'd see here - which is: You can pick what option you prefer, but there is no way to determine properly if you're actually fit for that option. A bad, non-dps healer can queue up for a speedrun, because they'd like to do one without being aware that they're not skilled for one. It would be great if that option could work, but I'm not sure if the playerbase is self-reflective enough for it...

Remove PvE chat because of "harassment"! Ban speedrunners from the game, they are not playing the content the way I like! Make the game a single player safe space so that I don't meet people with contrary opinions!

3.2: How is me not helping you in a dungeon that can be solo'd "disruptive" to your gameplay? If you bite of more than you can chew you're dead - easy as that. By that logic: Is someone who isnt helping you with open world content disruptive to your gameplay aswell? We can also turn that one around easly: By not going into the teleporter you're interrupting my game at that very moment. You're hindering my progression aswell in that very moment.Edit for below because I need to keep my post limits. I will be repeating myself, it is called not precipitating, that is the ToS violation and they do take those reports.

3.2 Disruption. You may not in any way disrupt or interfere with the Game experience of other players, including the disruption of Square Enix's computers and servers.
3.3 Profanity and Offensive Language. You may not use profanity or any language that a reasonable person would find offensive. The Game is for players aged 13 and older. You agree to behave accordingly.
all the speed runners I ran into violated both of these. GMs take the calls. It is not "playstyle differences" when you are ignoring help calls.
At least I do not interpret this section as "You have to help your fellow players if they ask you to" - it merely says that you're not allowed to actively disrupt their gameplay (for example: Killing questmobs just so people cant finish their quests or interupting teleports by trading - I believe they've fixed the later, but that was disrupting someones gameplay. Not going out of your way to help someone clean up the mess they've made themself is not).
3.3 No arguing with that - but you're generalising here. Politely asking to please step into the teleporter or neutrally declining to help you is perfectly acceptable behaviour and not a violation of the ToS.
Again - kicking for difference in playstyle and not ToS-violation (as long as no one curses). Ignoring a help call is neither disruptive nor is it making use of offensive language.
If my understanding of 3.2 is wrong, I'd like a GM to official confirm its actual meaning.
Well, worst case it's going to be the same as now where anyone can be matched with anyone, so... uh... yeah.Which leads me to the second problem I'd see here - which is: You can pick what option you prefer, but there is no way to determine properly if you're actually fit for that option. A bad, non-dps healer can queue up for a speedrun, because they'd like to do one without being aware that they're not skilled for one. It would be great if that option could work, but I'm not sure if the playerbase is self-reflective enough for it...
I might be alone with my opinion but how I see it, the purpose of the DF matchmaking has never been to find like-minded players. It's sole purpose is to fill in the gaps in case you're not interested to create group through other means. Any separation to different queues for matchmaking purpose would hinder this purpose by pooling people in different queues where some or none might fill efficiently. Especially for arbitrary choise this would lead all people to queuing for the one option that goes through.
tl dr if you want anything else than random pick, make premade party.
But that's just how I see DF
I think I'm a bit of a weirdo in that I enjoy exploring all the rooms so long as there's no risk of running out of time, even though I'm on 99/99 and most of the chests have no benefit for me. Then again, I either run solo or preformed because I'm actually slightly intimidated by DF after a few friends of mine had really bad experiences in pug of the dead.
If everyone is at max I don't bother opening silvers, but I still like to explore the rooms. DF would hate me I think.
