If you add a parser now, many people will be ashamed of their numbers. It will be discouraging for them to do duties.
Dev team is trying to lower the gap between players in Stromblood with battle system revamp. If it does work then the likelihood of having a parser in game will increase..

The gap problem isn't about how the current system is, the gap problem is because people don't know how they perform and most people do think they perform good enough. Doing a dummy strike wont help much as people think it will. It will let you know you do a rotation find on a dummy for 3-5 min. KNowing the actually fight with doing decent/good amount is a whole different thing. A tool would help more than anything. Tools are there to help, not to screw people up. But sadly a big majority are narrow minded and refuse to try or belive they doing good enough. I do agree at some ppint it will bring people to be ashamed of themselves, I was once too, but when people taught me and parsed me through fights, because of ps4 here, I got a lot better and it's so much more fun!

A personnal parser would be nice to have in-game.
The major issue I see with it is that knowing how PF/DF is, it might be used to discriminate players or kicking them from parties even in low level dungeons and maybe make things more hostile towards newer ones.
This is something I really don't want to witness at all

Rewards, ok i can get behind that, but we also need to seriously be ok with booting players at the opposite end.

While on one hand I agree with you, but on the other hand this sort of general negativity won't lead to improvements. If anything it will lead to hurt feelings, anger, and possibly people wuitting the game. For as bad as the situation is, the solution is not, and never will be punishing the underperformers. That only hurts the game as a whole. I'm not saying it's okay to underperform or anything, but if we want to see positive change, then everyone involved has to be positive too.

I am holding against it with a few of my friends who frequently go through mentor roulettes:


They report me of a staggering amount of unwillingness from the players there that won't change their ways of playing the class better, even lashing out on the mentors because they feel attacked in their ignorant way to play the game how they want to.
We talk about Summoners who use Bane before applying dots, level 40+ Black mages who still use Transpose to switch between astral/umbral, tanks that don't use their tanking stance because 'it lowers DPS', bards who don't seem to know what songs are (wanderer's minuet included) or even how to maintain dots, Rogues/Ninjas who attack at the front, dragoons that still use single target attacks on 6+ monster pileups, and the list goes on.

They tried. They tried so many times to make those change in a better way. Yet the reponses they received were harsh, uncalled for and just rude against a mentor who only wanted to help.

In the end, my friends gave up trying and stopped caring - They got turned into those glass-eyed people you know from roulettes. The ones which don't care anymore how long it takes, as long it gets the dungeon done, because even the slowest steps get the job done eventually.

If a person refuses to accept constructive criticism I'm ok with kicking said player. However, more often than not I have watched another start off with "omg you noob! Play your class right. Do X!" Or some other condescending and insulting comment. No one will respond well to that. I have tried to helped many summoners increase their ability and I can count on one hand the numbers of time people were not receptive because I I don't attack the player in question. There are way fewer in my experience that approach the problem like I do. Most scream and insult. If they saying anything.

lol jokes aside there isn't a cure for ice mages or the old "you don't pay my sub" short of a bullet.
Personal note I'm all for a parser whether it's for personal or public.
