Yoshi P has said they will consider parsers if their efforts to make the gap in performance between the average and cutting edge players narrower is successful. So maybe. Currently the fact that the difference in numbers between the very highest performing and the average performing player is so high risks fracturing the player base and leading to infighting and toxic behaviour.

That cool with you? I wouldn't appreciate everyone's lack of effort.
Again, you don't need a damage meter to tell who's doing good and who's not.

Don't need an aggro meter to tell what's aggroed to you or not. It just helps.

You're missing my point it sounded like you were saying players getting kicked for low dps is a direct result of parsers. And now you are refuting your own point?

Without a parser, a run can still go smooth and at a good pace but you can get a scenario where DPS#1 averages 2400 dps the entire dungeon run and DPS#2 averages only 1000 with equivalent gear. Not everyone will know how each dps jobs is suppose to play and people probably aren't going to be paying much attention to what attack actions the dps players are doing during a run. So you can get 1 player who's half-assing it without consequence.

For raids, if things take too long to die which causes problems. The group can go 'wow you dps players aren't doing well enough.' But you can have 2 dps putting out very good numbers and the other 2 not that great. Can the group definitively know which dps aren't performing well enough? Was it all 4 dps that was bad or was it only 1 or 2? You'd have to put a lot of focus on each dps players and know the class to see if they are performing well enough or not during the raid, and then try and justify why this individual dps or more was not performing good enough without concrete proof.

How many of you against parser support on ps4 actually do high end raids?
Do any of your party members have parsers?
Do any of you ask a friend to parse you if you are working on a new opening rotation?
Have you ever tried tweaking your stats to see how much of a diffence it makes?
Have you ever tried a different aoe rotation in a dungeon?
you honestly going to say SSS is the equivalent of a parser in any of these situations?
The only way to know how much dps you are actually doing on it is by using the online dummy numbers figured out by those who use parsers.

now the real question is.... how many of you against parsers don't actually care about how much damage you are doing as long as your party can carry you?
do you try to improve? Or just think better gear = better dps.

Sure there is a lot of casual content in the game, that doesn't mean you shouldn't have to try.
Excactly. Many doesn't bother even if they get told in a nice way too.

Even if it did, some people would still try to inflate their numbers. Just nah. Keep it out of their hands.

Anybody watching could see that massive HPS at 97% overheal isn't exactly brag worthy enough to do.

Most people find the solution of skipping it, makes it easier and faster. I just think its bad design tbh.
Skipping mechanics is a thing in this game and it has been for a while. Zurvan just made people open their eyes about it.
Those with BiS gear skipped it easly. This is their reward for having best gear currently in game. (It is skippable with 2 tanks, 2 healers and 4 dps)

Zurvan difficulty is between A10S and A11S (it drops il265 weapons) which helped people who couldnt beat the dps check in A11S.
People saw HC grops posting their clear online and wanted to do the same. If they did not include any information about skipping soar in their guide videos, you wouldn't see many people trying to skip it like them.

Heck even dungeons and old trials have skippable mechanics. But you don't see people talking about it.
