    That Innovative Touch at the end is very well placed;

    for those interested in just how strong it is:

    IQ= 20% of base control per bonus stack (not to include the first... so a x11 IQ is a bonus of 10)
    BB= 100% + 20% per bonus of IQ (ex: x11 IQ = 10 bonus [10*20%=200%])
    IT= 50% of BASE control for the next 3 steps
    ING2= about 17% quality buff on 4 star
    GS= Doubles the next Touch [AND IT's actually applied after all your other buffs are calculated]

    Final touch= GS*( [ING2+BB]*(baseControl+ bonus_IQs*baseControl+IT*baseControl) ).

    so if you pull out the effective IT (Innovative Touch) u got GS*(ING2+BB)*IT*baseControl;

    Assume you only got x5 IQ .... :P ; (thats a bonus of 4)

    2*(.17+1+.2*4)*0.5*baseControl=
    1.97*baseControl > 1.5*baseControl [which is the bonus of using IT on 3 Hasty Touches]

    Moral of the story: if your IQ is =>3 (2 or more bonuses ) you're better off using innovation/Innovative Touch at the end of your rotation.

    I agree with you that Innovation is very, very strong... But I just cannot fit it anywhere in my 2-part macro above. CP cost is an issue.

    As for the 3-part macro above, Innovation still cannot be fitted in there because of the limitation of SH II steps.

    In the 3-part macro, one can swap out the 2nd last touch with an Innovative Touch, which will significantly increase the quality gain from the last touch and the Blessing. But it's a big big gamble, as Innovative Touch only has a 40% success rate, and only 70% even under SH II. Furthermore, Innovative Touch is only available for Specialist Classes, which means a macro with Innovative Touch cannot be used by all 8 classes.

    I think Innovative Touch is a great skill for gambling when someone is manual crafting, and having too many hasty failure. Then it's a good way to "come back".

    The Innv touch is for the OP macro that includes MuMe; like someone already said doing the flawless syn route is extremely long......and only perk is a guaranteed Basic touch :P--that's not worth 18 more steps PER SYNTH
