Community expectations

This is part of my point, one that I agree with.

The duty finder is a group activity and there's an expected level of etiquette and play when you enter a party filled with other living players. More often than not, all that they're asking is that everyone adequately pulls their own weight.

Something that can be measured objectively.

The content was not designed to be speed run. In fact the developers have changes content to slow things down on several occasions. The implicit message there is that speed is not the intended method of play. You talk of etiquette, well remember that when you are next faced with someone who does not appreciate your efficiency. In fact you are the one wishing to impose your will on the game, those playing as intended are doing no such thing since they are playing as intended.
