    So umm, I've said this before...it was sort of an 'Ah ha' I had in the CNJ forums when we've had this debate and this is what I came up with: CNJ-BLM THM-WHM Here's what I based this on: Changing weapon=class or job change and 'requires xxx' skills

    So the Devs have said that our Class (CNJ/THM) should be for solo play and versitility. But the jobs are designed for party play. I think the Class/job system will sorta work like this: If you are a CNJ with no class equipped you will have access to all your CNJ 'required' spells (i.e raise/cure/curaga). However, if you then equip your job (which is most likely done via a weapon) you will no longer be a CNJ but a BLM...therefore, your CNJ 'required' abilities you will no longer be able to cast (so no curaga or raise II/rebirth). However, you will have access to much more potent nukes and DD spells.

    On the THM side: With only the THM class equipped (no job) you will have access to all your THM spells and be a DOT/DD/backup healer mage. However equip the WHM weapon and voila, you now have Curaga's, Raises, Erase (please for the love of God SE Erase) etc.

    I think this makes the most sense, lorewise AND play wise...both mage classes can survive on their own AND add awesomesauce to party play.
