Question one: CNJ=BLM, THM=WHM
Question one: CNJ=BLM, THM=WHM

Question 1 has been adequately answered a few times, but #2 is a clusterf***k. Tomorrow may be time for another patented comprehensive Anonymoose-Loredrop. Until I get all the information together, please understand the terms in play, here.
- The Twelve - A pantheon of inter-related deities worshiped by the majority of The Five Races of Eorzea.
- The Archons - The manifestations, or representatives, of The Twelve in physical reality.
- The Eikons - The "godly" term for referring to the Primals of the Beast Tribes; allegedly demonic false gods summoned forth from "The Black Beyond the Aether" (the Void(?))
- The Paragons - Mysterious forces that are said to show up in times of darkness and lead those in need to the light of the Primals - so say the beast tribes. A bastardization of the archons, or are the archons playing both sides? Either way, the tribes say that it was these paragons who taught them to summon the primals from the aether in the first place.

Yeah, we don't actually have any idea yet. I know I'm hoping for THM being WHM and CNJ being BLM, I'm currently happily scooting along leveling Thaumaturge under that assumption. << (Although truthfully I suck at healplz in this game for some reason... which just means that if THM is BLM after all, I'll still be happy)
And, no, the Primals are aether-eating abominations that exist to be tac nuked by the Garleans and/or summoned by the beastmen, who worship them; the Twelve are the deities that watch over Eorzea and have taken an interest in the Spoken races inhabiting Eorzea and try to protect them from harm, and in turn are worshipped by Eorzea's Spoken. Completely different things.

Current lore is taking a backseat if recent trends are any indication. I'm personally hoping for CNJ = BLM too, but with those CNJ only WHM spells that were just added... dunno, man, dunno.
In 1.20 the classes are having their abilities reworked. So thm can easily obtain all of cnj's raises cures and possibly enhancing magic

This is what I'm hoping for, but it's kind of a derp moment. Why didn't they just give the group cure to THM to begin with if they were planning on changing THM to the WHM archetype? ; ;
Probably because cnj already had whm type spells and probably wanted to wait until they had all of the actions for all classes rebalanced.
Also I don't really see the lore getting tromped on too severely? They've got the same writing team, they've done a really good job of weaving everything together and giving IC explanations for what's going on, and the Seventh Umbral Age stuff was totally foreshadowed even in game release. (Or maybe I just get insanely lucky with calling plot twists in advance, it happened to me in FFXI, too.)
There are some continuity glitches I think, but nothing that's stood out /too/ severely to me? I'm a lore nut, but I /also/ haven't gotten a class past level 30 yet (working on it with THM on my new character, almost there!) so there's a lot of Path of the Twelve plot I haven't done yet and a lot of quests I haven't even started.![]()

After doing all the THM quest i dont even see how they can be linked to whm. THM's deals with death nothing about life at all its all about death.
Con is going to be whm as far as i can tell don't matter if they are linked with the spirit, cause cure spells and such harness more than one element to use it.
Example cure is made up of three elements which are under the astral, I forgot which 3 are the astral elements but the lore can fit <.<
