So my issues are the following - first you accuse me of being dishonest (which I wasn't), and then accuse me of lying (which I didn't). And then you go on about me just doing this for "interwebz points". Did I step on your puppy or something?

But anyway, lets go back to where this started, for fun of course.

You replied to my quote (which was not directed at you):

One might argue that stating "nearly every person complaining about the cash shop is using fearmongering hyperbole as part of their argument." is quite an exaggeration meant to create a strong impression. The majority of posts have not delved into this despicable realm.

So now you're implying I'm dishonest - not quite sure why.

So I reply:

You either don't understand the meaning of hyperbole or fear mongering. Most responses in this thread have been just fine. Also, you changed the wording in your comment above. Minor, but it still lessens the effect.

At this point, feel free to compare your two sentences. They are in fact worded slightly different, as I mentioned. Before you very adamantly stated that nearly everyone complaining was using fearmongering hyperbole as part of their argument. You changed that to "nearly every person complaining about the cash shop has utilized fearmongering hyperbole in their responses at least once in this thread?"

Minor, yes, but the first response implies that the fearmongering was relentless from nearly everyone who was complaining. Second sentence makes the comment slightly less extreme as we complainers only used fearmongering at least once in the thread.

OK, lets keep this memory train rolling.

My last comment did not sit well with you, and you had this to say:

1) Again, I didn't say "nearly all the responses in this thread". I said nearly all the people complaining about the cash shop have used fearmongering hyperbole, which is a fact. There are several examples on the last 3 pages alone.

2) I didn't change the wording of anything. Stop lying in order to attempt to score "interwebz points".

With #1 we're just arguing semantics now. Boring! But #2 - I like #2. You have now called me out for lying. Can you steer me in the right direction of my lies so that I may see where I went wrong?

You would be factually incorrect. My statement can be demonstrated by actually reading the thread. If you actually take the time to read this thread and the replies by "those complaining about the cash shop", the vast majority of them contain fearmongering hyperbole. For example: "What's next, selling full sets of top ilvl armor?" "I bet Stormblood is going to have full blown gachapon." Those are just the tip of the ice burg.
