Agreed, it is a design problem, it needs changing.Because I don't want to pay $20 to fix SE's problem? If systems become unbalanced at certain levels they should be aware and design for that, like perhaps not letting so many people onto one server lol. If SE made it so AST is way better than WHM, player response shouldn't be "well just never play WHM again" of course a temproary solution is to not play it again, but the ultimate responsibility is on SE to fix the issue they've created / manage. Although because FATEs are probably not seen as important content I doubt they'll care to do anything about these max server issues, at least this specific one (houses seriously needs to be looked at though). Also I was placed into Balmung at it's creation (Fabul), so it's not like I paid into watching all these wonderful issues. The full cities and extremely active market is nice, but FATEs and other open party system when useful are just broke lol.
Luckily for me I don't care for the horns, so I saw the thread and was like oh a Balmung player - good luck mate XD. But missing the FATE doesn't hurt me. FATEs on Balmung is important to get into the ball of death, if you're not in the ball of death you're not getting the FATE.
All I said was to make the fate like any other, stop putting words in my mouth and stop claiming I said things when I didn't. So for now, the person you quoted is correct, knock it off.OP requested changes to the system be made, which when it comes to the kind of scenario they are complaining about, usually involves suggestions of locking said FATE or Hunt from being able to be attacked at all for X minutes after spawn or punishing so called early pullers by reducing the rewards they receive or increasing the HP of the mobs (which may not be a bad idea if they somehow programmed the HP increase only for the more populated servers because then the ones on the dying servers would never be killed). So if they are suggesting it be added to the cash shop or the HP be increased for heavily populated worlds, right on. But they were rather vague so I just assumed the worst case scenario.
