I think the main issue is people want to take things to far in extremes. There is no such thing as a middle ground. Its not elitism, its common sense you wear your best armor and the issue seems to be we are happy to just accept bottom of the barrel instead of tossing it out. Not saying he needs to be in full 270 topping the DPS charts, but its obvious they are fine being ranked last and everyone else just shrugs and accepts it. Kind of the same anywhere, either it be healers, tanks, or dps. If we allow them to keep doing stuff we know is wrong or not helping, they will keep doing it.

That is exactly why I told the group I was in this morning it is either the dragon goes or I do. Vote failed so I left. I was not doing this because I am "elitist" I want to get across bypassing the DF level check should be viewed as unacceptable. I do not care if it is passable, by putting increased burden on 3 others, it isn't right. I am just sick of it this point. I'll take a 30 if it helps people learn something. Though I disagree I get a penalty for doing that, and that is why I am here. The gear check needs adjustments. It was always a problem but I speak out now because enough is enough and it keeps happening more and more because what exactly what you said that I bold. The system allows them so they think it is fine.

Guess what? it isn't, stop stressing healers because you are too lazy to gear appropriately.
