Should healers now be allowed to play how they choose to play?

That is not my experience they want you skilled BEFORE you enter a static, in my case my first one, there was no one in it to teach me, was supposed to casual, and the other healer wanted to dpsl fine, my healing has never been in question but healing to some is not just healing is it? So struggle with your point. If your a good HEALER will give you more opportunities to learn, but if healer means optimal play, why would I need to have to learn. Or maybe the problem is your attitude?

You're talking about the absolutely highest difficulty level content the game has to offer and then you say it's unfair that you're expected to actually know your job and it's role before entering that content? No one would welcome a DRG who only knows (or is willing to use) a half of their rotation into a Savage static, either.

At level 60 there's plenty of easier content where you can practice playing your job, and there are tons of guides and all kinds of resources available for anyone who's willing to learn. Then, after you're comfortable with playing your job at level 60 at a level where you can carry your own weight in a team, you're ready to try if you have what it takes to clear Savage.

No Im saying you need to learn it. Your view is that you shouldnt enter it? Unless youve learned how is that possible unless you think that high content is only there for the chosen few at the top and I will totally disagree with you there cos anyone given the will or aptitude to learn it can, given opportunity. I wonder how people feel here being told that high content isnt for them? Well why should I strive now if I find out later that I cant go any further? And this is it I need high content to learn the skills in high content I know the skills and need to apply it

Nowhere did I say this content should be excluded from anyone. If you'll actually read what I wrote, I literally said: after you're comfortable with playing your job at level 60 at a level where you can carry your own weight in a team, you're ready to try if you have what it takes to clear Savage. Learn your job first by practicing in easier content, then when you're comfortable with playing your job, go challenge the hardest content.
