How do you feel about Dancer not being added with this expansion?

there was literally no indication that Dancer was even being considered by the dev team.

People just hyped themselves so much for it. The fallout was inevitable.

I'm OK with dancer not being in the xpac. I look at dancer as just another bard but melee, that's how they performed in other ff titles. I wouldn't have played one if it was introduced.

Hmm...I wanted DNC a lot, it was my main in xi. Well, they didn't decide to add it...life goes on lol

I still think that girl is a dancer or something else though, I will never change my mind in saying she is not a monk, unless we can break the armory system. She attacks him with cloth, I'll stick by that no matter what. If she is not a dancer, well fine but she is not a monk because she does not use the weapons monks use. If she is then I want a blade and cloth weapon on my monk damnit.

We do not know what she is and just because the job was not announced does not mean she is not a unique job or something else entirely.

He did not confirm or announce anything regarding her, so we still have to wait and see for the next part of the story...or maybe even longer.

I think DNC would have been interesting as a non-caster healer. And since they didn't release a new tank or a new healer because they focus on properly balancing existing ones, it's a good thing DNC is still out.

And it's absolutely hilarious for all those smug people (not you particularly) that claimed that the lady in red obviously meant we'll have a Dancer job.

From some posts I have seen in other threads yes some ppl did get rather forceful about their views,I had noticed that from both the mnk side as well as the dnc side.

I do share a very similar view as Iromi and as she had said not much had been said about the girl in red so it's anyone's guess until we learn more about her specifically.

I can't remember who posted it but someone posted a link from a letter from the producer or live letter asking about the dnc job. From what Yoshi said was once they got everything else done they want to get done for balancing things they may look at releasing dnc in a 4.x patch, so it's a possibility still and if it doesn't happen it will maybe be I. 5.0

Btw I have never watched any of the fan fests so all the info I know had been learned second hand from ppl that had watched them. I also have only started looking at the forums shorty after the dec fan fest.

The only thing I've seen is Yoshi-P not completely dismissing the idea of creating a job during 4.x. He didn't mentionned any job by name, as far as I know.

Well, I am a bit bummed but I can still hold hope if they do decide to add a 3rd mid expansion based off of the interview. So perhaps we may still see it, but as long as it comes out eventually I don't mind too much.
