The Feast is SO much better without chat

You may found some toxic people in pvp, won't argue with that, but you will also find toxic people in pve. Do you want to get the chat cut of there too and explain everyone what they have to do with preset macros who don't even make sense?

Depends on the type of content. If we're talking casual PUGs like Duty Roulettes, the kind of content where you're matched with strangers of varying skill, then yeah, chat is completely optional. A lot of people don't read it anyway, and even if they do, they may not be interested in a conversation - perhaps they're on PS4, perhaps they're French or something. It helps, but it's by no means some kind of panacea.

In my oppinion these changes did more bad than good because it limits your option to a point where it is almost useless if you don't have a team of fulltime pvp players who know exactly what to do to the right time.

The Feast is not exactly rocket science. It's tiny arena with limited number of situations. It doesn't require insane amount of time or effort to become fairly proficient at it. An acquintance of mine, a person who just got into PvP with Garo event, has already made it to top 100. He learned all the intricasies without the benefit of an endless well of wisdom that once was PvP chat. This echoes my earlier argument that people who want to get good will get good regardless.

And funny how the thread about "how good this change is" has turned into yet another thread about how terrible this change is.

I'm inclined to disagree. The amount of likes my original post got clearly shows that plenty of people consider it a positive change. Otherwise the second post, the "we disagree" one, would've gotten a lot more likes in comparison. Also, if you consider the kind of scrutiny and slander I've been subjected to, it's reasonable to assume most people reading this thread would simply decide not to bother.

Of course I literally made all of this up just like the right wing party of the United states.
