The Feast is SO much better without chat

You think this. Until you're 30 seconds to winning, and the DRG with 10 stacks of vun and all your medals just bolted into a group of 8 enemies.

Or you queue into a group of 8 DPS and no one has the sense to switch to healer.

Or you'd like to tell the healer to please not take the offensive kit.

Honestly if they were going to remove chat, they could have had the decency to give us more than the macros we got now, with a couple of them meaning practically the same thing (attack/stop target), one being so general it's useless to say it (forward!) and the only useful one, retreat, not specifying if I mean come back you're getting nuked inside the enemy base, or to just step back and collect some kits.

I gotta say I agree wholeheartedly with OP.

Every time I get PvE rezzed, after I had no way to coordinate heals\bursts on a high-priority target that's carrying a ton of medals that are literally our only way to win a match while everyone else runs around like headless chickens after 0-stack healers and tanks, I always can take comfort in the fact that "THANK GOD there's no way for us to rectify this through simple communication. Someone's feelings might get hurt."

im new to the feast but i did play some feast before the chat is disabled and i have started to play more on the feast recently. i think disabling the chat is kinnda good for me as a E player on a jp server because last time when i was on the feast i cant even understand a thing on their jp macro strat lol or when they use some jp macro halfway in the battle ... i think using the quick chat that SE provide is much more better at least i could understand cause is in english i think se shud provide more of those quick chat or more reliable one cause i think the current quick chat is too simple

I'm sorry, but no. You choose to play on a Japanese server - and that's NOT a problem - but you were previously aware of the language barrier. The issue wasn't the chat, it was your own self-imposed handicap. I'm not trying to sound mean, just so we're clear on that. But while quick chat is good for perhaps overcoming a language barrier, so too was the auto-translate function, already in place and FAR more intuitive than a limited system that further bloats already bloated hotbars.

I have to strongly disagree with you on that. It may help your specific case, but you choose to play with people knowing there's a language barrier.

You may found some toxic people in pvp, won't argue with that, but you will also find toxic people in pve. Do you want to get the chat cut of there too and explain everyone what they have to do with preset macros who don't even make sense?
In my oppinion these changes did more bad than good because it limits your option to a point where it is almost useless if you don't have a team of fulltime pvp players who know exactly what to do to the right time.

And i'm not a hardcore pvp player if someone wants to come with that idea.

Are you kidding me? I started to interview the top 30 players on ever data center to get their insights on this chat banned and you will be surprised to hear what they have to say. The overwhelming majority of the players, which is over 250 players that I interviewed, have said that it made the matches undeniably smoother and quicker with the fun factor easily 3x better. Of course I literally made all of this up just like the right wing party of the United states.
