Sorry, which universe did this happen in? I don't remember them "trolling" us by leaving fake "JobRun" files behind to trick us into thinking we'd get Rune Fencer instead of Dark Knight.
I was meaning to say that they trolled in general about what was coming. Not that they necessarily put fake files in the game. They intentionally toss out red herrings for everyone to chase, to keep the speculation hype train rolling. Yoshida, himself, trolled that the shirts meant nothing, when in fact they did (for HW). I learned early on (with FFXI) that they love to throw out random information for us to chase. They've had more fun with it on this game, however.
Give sparkly, me! Give twinkly, me! Sparkly, happy, happy! Caw. :3
I see Dancer mentioned a few times, and I'm not against the job or anything but I don't really get the logic behind being referenced via spider man.
Like I can easily see Blue Mage and Samurai (I think Samurai's reference is a bit weirder, but the fact there is a lot of in game references, and the SB artwork I find it still fairly believable). Funnily enough I feel Blue Mage fits much better in total as reference to Spider Man but Yoshida's comments about killing Blue Mage (making it not a "job" job) makes it feel less likely, while simultaneously Raubahns hilariously strong references and the going to the east theme leads me to a strong "Dunno" haha. Would like both..

The DNC speculation comes from the Stormblood trailer. The woman in red (Yda maybe?) fights barehanded, but she does it with a very dance-like movement compared to the traditional MNK.Give sparkly, me! Give twinkly, me! Sparkly, happy, happy! Caw. :3

It would make sense too, especially if the woman in red is Yda, since they introduced Rogue by making Thancred into one. Could introduce DNC by making Yda into one.
Oh, haha. Whenever I saw people talk about it I thought they were in reference to the shirt - cause.. title of the thread you know? lol. So every time I saw it I'm like.. okay dancer as a job doesn't bother me.. but how?The DNC speculation comes from the Stormblood trailer. I do agree a bit that she has a different move set. The fact she goes toe to toe with the monk makes me think either A. Trailer so screw in game logic or B. she's not a healer xD. Unless SAM/BLU is tank, SB with 3 DD would be hilarious. Will partner with a healer and open up queue shop hehe.
I just want a new fun healer. I'm tired of shields and regen. Please SE be creative and us healers something new. Anything would be welcomed at this point lol.
1k replies... lol sad.
Might help to toss out suggestions. Hots/Direct Heals/Shields are all fairly classic and staple forms of healing in MMOs or RPGs in general. Beyond that you also have the, 'Heal from dealing damage,' style but that tends to be difficult to balance. Either its too weak or too strong.
