"His" stance is not. The dev-team complained on that once, but we have to keep in mind that they had to work on three jobs...while creating a fourth one during 2.x. Which suprisingly match with Yoshi-P's actual stance of "We won't add a job mid-expansion again"

You can't say that, because it could be used to justify everything. For example, him not saying if the girl in red is a MNK or DNC would be a testimony of her being a DNC, because, if she was a MNK there would be no reason hiding. Or him not talking about the datamine is a testimony that SAM really is coming, since there would be no reason of not denying it.

Two things that also favor the idea that there will be three jobs.

It would make more sense for them to create a BLU/DNC hybrid. Both classes can be easily tied to ala mhigo.

Considering they confirmed that you ony need to be level 50 to unlock Red Mage, there's a high probability that the new jobs aren't tied to this city.
