Why is game entitlement a thing and people think they deserve every item in the game?

We're agree on the fact that people facing difficult content don' thave any rewards for their investment.

Unless said people consider the accomplishment of clearing said difficult content a reward. Given the variety of people who play this game, it's probably a good idea to emphasize that you're referring to a lack of rewards you can show to others.

Granted, you could just record the event on a video and upload it for people who are interested to watch. So then is the issue actually about having tangible proof that is easily displayed to strangers whether they care about your accomplishments or not?
