How is it not? I can be running with my alliance, suddenly, I am pulled with Holmgang and I can't move, I cant cast spells, i can't use abilities, and just die.

If this is "balance" in your eyes, how come I do not have different cast timers for cure, cure II, medica, medica II, and anything swiftcast? at the very least swiftcast > spell should not put me on a golbal cooldown? this is the brd logic after all.. well if whm was programed like bard, i mean.

Also, as a healer. your job is not to "Chase" people. yes you can throw a stone 1 and slow them, but it's not your job to secure/fight enemies. that's what DPS are there for. you can throw our skills and ability to negate their esacpes or make it easier for your dps to kill them.

If it's a lone WAR and they Holmgang me, I pop Equa and chain Bene II through the Fell Cleave spam, or just spam my instant shields on AST and wait it out. You can still cast stuff on yourself while you're 'ganged, you just can't cast on the WAR if he grabs you from behind.

If a WAR snags me with a pile of buddies right behind him, I Purify, Sprint, and GTFO. Works pretty much every time. Always makes me chuckle seeing them standing there impotently while I leave them in the dust...I imagine them shaking a fist at me like a cheesy cartoon villain as I roll out.

Purify can be used on others. You probably had someone else targeted. Could macro "/ac purify <me>" . You do sometimes want to use it on teammates, so might want to keep it on your bars alongside the macro

Before this goes further: you do know about PvP actions, right? The ones you only get in PvP? Purify is one of those.

Yes it would not let me use it.
today in feast it worked, but the time I am talking about didn't. Who knows what happened then, it could been latency issues with stun/ sleep and it just appeared i couldn't do anything from a lag spike.

Speaking of, why is the latency issues so bad?
