Add more shield skills, since that's basically the job's identity. Make those do blunt damage, and add a blunt resistance debuff. Make the MNKs happy. Maybe a 20-second CD that raises block rate and counterattacks with the shield for x potency every time you block, to give PLD something akin to Vengeance.
Add a spammable enmity AoE that doesn't suck, to make trash pulls and the early GLD days easier.
Shield Oath at level 30. Why this wasn't changed long ago is beyond me.
-give flash damage
-give blocks a (small) chance to reset CoS
But it already isn't? DRK feels completely different than PLD in terms of gameplay.
Anyway, what I'd really like to see in PLD would be something to make SwO feel and play differently than ShO. Right now, there is no difference in playstyle between PLD's two stances, and that doesn't feel great (it honestly makes it feel pretty bland).

More like there is very little decision making in PLD's rotation. The only decision making for PLD to do is FoF activation. WAR has to decide if he needs to hold off stacks for optimal FC lining up, Berserk lining up with IR and the DPS rotation etc. Eye into BB/Eye/Path depending on situation. DRK for mana consumption, enough mana = Go DASE, not enough mana = Delirium. Holding mana generation skills instead of using on CDs, whether to use DA earlier for CnS then DA again for SE or he can afford DA right before anything, holding Plunge for certain phases or pull etc. There are just more priority/decision making that WAR and DRK have to do. PLD is just this GB>RA>RA repeat for the most part with a little bit of variances. 4.0 should introduce PLD more skills with priority lists rather than a static GB>RA>RA.

There really isn't anything wrong with tank classes....good grief
Says the "Marauder". It's pretty common knowledge that the tank meta is out of whack, with DARK and PLD fighting over a spot and WAR being king of everything, and a meta which relies on DPS, which the tanks vary in (usually shafting PLD). The tank classes are much better than they were in 3.0, but to say that there isn't anything wrong is either naive or just plain blind
You can't however deny that the current savage allows any kind of comp to clear it. It is an exaggeration at best for people who seek to finish any current content, obviously not optimal but sufficient enough to clear.Says the "Marauder". The reason Warrior has good TP management is not because of Equilibrium.
The reason Warrior has good TP management is because they get free actions. Inner Beast or Fell Cleave give them a full cooldown to recover their TP. You see this when syncing down to old content with more than one tank, like World of Darkness: I remember struggling quite a bit with TP because you don't get that free attack when you're out of stance.
Adding Deliverance and Fell Cleave solved those problems outright, and Equilibrium became outright redundant before you even got it. And I don't see why screwing over Butcher's Block is going to help other tanks. It's just going to make it harder to use Warrior.
Please stop asking for damage on flash. It's not going to happen, and a lot less use than getting some sort of spammable physical aoe for combining with bloodbath.
BB combo makes it harder for MTs to sustain aggro, mostly because it is a DPS gain for the most part although just 20 potency each cycle, thus making it on par with Eye (either nerfing BB combo or buffing Eye combo OR both) will satisfy the MT-OT design, OT WARs don't have reason to spam BB combo and it still retains MT WARs for the most part. DRK suffers the most on aggro and for an MT, this is somewhat unacceptable because it is known as the best current MT.WAR having access to BB combo as part of the dps rotation is bonkers. This is why WAR is pulling for the most part because they can sustain aggro way easier than PLD and DRK especially. If SE is willing to clear up the meta, adjusting PLD and DRK skills to fit their MT role like adding more aggro generation for DRK especially. In tandem, have WAR and the next OT-to-be suit the OT role better, lowering the potency for BB is a step forward because currently the extra potency gives a reason for WARs to keep using.
