for dragoons the reason they're split is because they have higher DEF (not sure if it's still the case now) for monk and ninja, they used to share stuff so i think they can atleast share again

Are there any reasons for dragoons to have a higher DEF? No, they are not tanks, the are common Mellee DPS. So, I think, that this problem can be solved or by cutting down this def bonus or by making some defense bonus for these common gear- it will be not so big as in Dragoon gear, but not so little like Monks or Ninjas have
