I give commendations to players whom deserve them.
I wish I could save them up and distribute more than 1 at times.

If the entire party under performs? Nobody gets a comm.
When I wanna give multiple people comms? The player that was best in my opinion gets it, but i will say it in party chat that I wish i could give all comms.

I just spent an hour carrying the worst level 60 party through dungeon finder I have ever come across. The BLM seemed to be casting spells at random. The WHM kept getting caught in tornados. Both dps were getting knocked off the platforms and not learning for past wipes.

My rotation for the final boss was savage blade riot blade clemency WHM who was continuously being tossed in tornados and clemency the dps the WHM didn't have time to heal. I never once saw a regen thrown out either.

And after it was all finished I got 0 commendations.

SMH why do people not know how to play at 60?

Where you rude about it maybe?

This past week or so I've found quite a few people in random experts who seem to have no clue what to do; bosses also seem to take an age to go down too.

Maybe more people coming back for 3.5 I suppose.

What? MNKs and DRGs have loads of AoE output. Sure not as much as a BLM or SMN sure, but plenty enough to deal with big pulls fast. If they're not, then they're doing something wrong.

NINs not so much, though a Critical Katon is still nice.

Eh, DRG and MNK, yea I guess there's some AoE there, but I feel that they work through small pulls doing single target damage more efficiently and faster than AoEing big pulls...

Commendation system is meaningless, Tanks/Healers usually get those while DPS are mostly ignored. Also a lot of players don't give them or do it at random.

IMO should be scrapped.

We get them because we're Roe females (half joke but it's true) I get commendations left and right regardless of my role ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't play seriously. I'm the worst DPS on my server and am bathing in them. But I make people smile with jokes and being friendly. I know I lag, so I say so. I know I don't remember a mechanic, so I warn people. There is no way I'll go into an instance without saying "hey I'm doing such and such irl so I may need to emergency brb" and people understand. Communicate in a manner people can relate to and have a non hostile environment.

Healers always get the most commendations When a healer carries people, it's easier to realize it compared to tank's carrying.

As a DD, I rarely commend a tank. I don't care if they tank perfectly but if they don't pull at my desired speed, no commendation. The faster they pull, higher chances I'll commend them.

I get just as many comms on my summoner as I do my astrologian. I also give out comms to dps if they are deserving of it. However, I find a lot of dps just stand in whatever and expect to be healed through it. You do that and no comm for you right off the bat.
