That's the thing; it's not 920 potency completely missing from the run. It's 920 EXTRA potency. And it's great if you get it, but as I said before, it's not even factored into what "needs" to be put out in order to clear the content. I get wanting to play at your best, and I definitely get wanting the run to go faster, but if DPS are doing damage on par with or above what's expected, there's no damage that needs to be made up by the healer in that particular case.

Also, the whole "if you won't do your job properly, then I won't do mine properly" mentality needs to go away. Seriously. We're adults. Act like it. Taking avoidable damage on purpose because a healer won't dps, or out of some inane desire to FORCE them to perform their intended role? Dead DPS aren't doing their job either. So who's doing anything right at that point? What's being accomplished other than spitefully sabotaging your party's overall capability to get the job done?

Fact is, the moment you see the words "Light Party" or "Full Party" on screen, it's not about you and what you want alone anymore. And that goes both ways. For the people that won't do more where they have the ability to do so, and the people who would demand nothing less.
