Please lift glamour restrictions!

I really couldn't care less that it means nothing to you. If that is your attitude, why should the devs care about your feelings towards the matter, or even remotely consider lifting the restrictions?

Your view of what defines jobs is just fine. Recognize though that it is not the same as the devs and longtime fans of the franchise. Aesthetics and identity is very important to the iconic jobs of the franchise whether you accept it or not. The world doesn't revolve around you.

The devs of FFXIV should care about my opinions for the same reasons they care about the opinions of other people who play FFXIV. My opinions about other FF games is nothing they should care about, since I do not have any such opinions.

I never said they don't care about the opinions of the player base. I asked why should they care feelings of those who don't care about the franchise. Yes, this is FFXIV. However, this game pays many homages to past FF titles, and this includes the artifact armor. But it isn't even about that. I keep bringing up these things because there is clearly a failure to understand why some of us oppose lifting the restrictions so strongly. If you want to be dismissive towards those who feel this way, don't think you won't receive the same in return.

I support this. I'm all for more customization. Though I would rather they revamp the whole glamour system, its a mess right now.

The glamour system is ok, but there is still much room for improvements. Like having more than one dyeable color or more slots for different items (for example: face slot which let you wear glasses AND a hat).

Job-specific gear should stay job-specific. But all other items should be avaiable for all classes/races.

I'd love this too, but I think they already said that cant be done because ps3 limitations or something blah blah blah
