Healer Pet Peeves

Yeah, people scattering in duties. -_- even before the duty starts. I had cards I was holding that I wanted to spread but one dps was over yonder and another was edging around the opposite side of the arena so I just spread it on the closest dps. This was Void Ark. Any 24 man duty it seems like most of the party does their best to scatter to the four winds. At one point I said "aoe balance going out, get near me if you want it." Most people wanted it.

So I guess I should set up a macro to notify people I'm putting out a ranged party buff? T_T

I really wish people would stop doing that. Hell, for a lot of fights being in melee range is one of the SAFER places to be (mostly anything with conal or donut attacks), and staying about 5 steps away will usually mitigate most AoE attacks anyway. Also stick by your own party in alliances please :/

When I pop out sacred soil or collective unconscious and no one stands in it. That's okay. I'm just going to enjoy this 10% damage reduction...by myself.

Not exactly healer pet peeve but, i hate a silent dungeon run

from start to finish nobody said anything, not even a hello or hi, just total silent, when the dungeon end nobody said anything like good game or such, just run to portal and thats it, some even just straight leave from party ui the second the boss got killed

probably normal for some people but for me it feel unsettling, this kinda left me a mark because the first time i got silent party like this is ironically when i was doing edda quest which lead to tam tara (hard) for the 1st time

I swear at first i though my party is just a random npc and it was all part of the story plot to add the eeriness

I'm silent in Aetherochemical Research Facility because I hate the dungeon and am seething with rage whenever I run it, so I refuse to spread that to the team.

When I pop out sacred soil or collective unconscious and no one stands in it. That's okay. I'm just going to enjoy this 10% damage reduction...by myself.

The best thing is when the tank decides to change position for no apparent reason as you drop CU, then doesn't seem to notice that he/she is standing just outside of it. All I can think is "Gee, thanks for letting me stand here with my ...relic in my hand."

As pretty as the animation is, I'd really like apply the damned buff, drop my jazz hands, and immediately get back to work.

Aetherochemical Research Facility because I hate the dungeon

this,i hate this dungeon too, did i miss something here? everytime i queue for DF level 60 dungeons, like 90% of the time all i got is this blasted Aetherochemical Research Facility.

It's because ARF is the only viable Lore farming method because Square Enix made the most asinine decision to reduce tomes given by EVERY SINGLE DUNGEON OTHER THAN ARF.

Like seriously... that decision accomplished NOTHING good.

Triggered recently in the vault.
last boss, fireball orb phase, just as last orb is dying I put up ast bubble right in the middle of the room for everyone to gather in and pick up the buff. Except no-one does. not even the tank. all just dancing about outside while I stood there unable to move, prob for about 10 secs before I had no choice but to break it and throw out a hot. a dps died shortly afterwards from not moving out the fire aoe, I just left them on the floor, petty I know, but was still angry about no-one picking up the free regen. the dps were brd and smn, so not even like they have mobility restrictions

Because it happened to my party yesterday, brd shot that aoe fire arrow and nin use that aoe mudra, tank just avoid them all, start tank the mobs somewhere else until the brd cant stand it any further and yell "do you hate our aoe that much?!??"

basically tank just brush it casually asking like what aoe? Then both dps just snap and tell it to tank which again he just casually replied "thats your aoe? Why you guys didnt tell me?"

I just stood there enjoying the drama though iam gladly siding with both dps since the tank also overide my protect with his own =P
