Healer Pet Peeves

It's because ARF is the only viable Lore farming method because Square Enix made the most asinine decision to reduce tomes given by EVERY SINGLE DUNGEON OTHER THAN ARF.

Like seriously... that decision accomplished NOTHING good.

Actually, it's the other way around. ARF used to give a low amount of lore and was purposely buffed because people either never queued for it or outright left due to how long the dungeon could take. Being that it's necessary to run for people finishing 3.0, they scaled the rewards up dramatically. Why they didn't move it into Main Scenario and offer a bonus through the roulette itself or something I'll never know. I guess to ensure people would get it.

I got one. When I am a healer in a low level dungeon with an Arcanist in the party, it annoys me when they heal the tank when they don't even need it. Like really, I am fully capable of healing myself.

I had someone do just that recently in Tam-Tara. I didn't say anything, but it annoyed the heck out of me. I had hoped they'd catch on and realize that I don't need no help. Oh well.

I ran Praetorium recently and a WHM consistently casted Cure II on me during Ultima, even when he was turning away to cast lasers at the party. Like really? He's not even attacking me yet you still waste your mp?

I had a similar experience recently. I blame PotD.

When I put down an asylum or collective unconsciousness and no one gets it it. Like I'm floating here in this giant bubble for no reason.

Ranged dps that float around 1y outside my asylum/C3/Soil etc., close enough to need to dodge someone else's bait aoe but far enough to not be cured and need another gcd's attention.
People that dodge unsync content's aoes, notlethal aoes at the last few %, more of a general complaint but people are doing this crap for "my" sake.
Stop-start tanks.
Tanks that "soft pull" multiple packs and have over half their health torn before they even stop.
People that assume mantra is only for that signature primal move which is usually accompanied by 5+ seconds downtime.

- Stop-start tanks, dear Hydaelyn, please pick a speed and stick with it.
- Tanks that don't CD and grab like 400000 mobs.
- Healers DPSing without Cleric on.... and on purpose O.o
- People not running in for cards or AoE heals.
- DFing content and having my co-healer be another AST that either consistently overwrites my cards or won't swap into the opposite stance from me.
- Putting down a bubble of any kind (Asylum, Sacred Soil, etc) and no one gets in it. I didn't make the bubble for your viewing pleasure, I promise.

TFW, on Scholar, you're the highest enmity out of pure DPS in an entire dungeon run :')

(And while I know enmity bars are a poor way to judge DPS, this was with a DRG that didn't use Elusive Jump ever, and a SMN who literally only ever spammed Ruin II. There were no DoTs on the boss other than mine :''')

Co-healers without some kinda of notification macro for raising people. like i just got a simple "raising X se.<10>" for mine. it's a bit annoying when we both blow our swiftcasts on a single guy.

Dear Noct Ast's;

Just because you're a shield healer doesn't mean you can sit in cleric stance 97% of a fight. You don't have a fairy pumping out 700hps on it's own. Your cards are great and all, but if you're not planning on healing I might as well drop you for a dps and get rid of the rng associated with ast dps increases. This is especially true if you haven't bothered melding accuracy on your gear. Also, if your co-healer is actually statted for dps, you should maybe relieve at least some of the healing burden to increase the raid wide damage.
