You're right, that was a single section of which i made about 4 or 5 posts, the rest of it counts it out and that just added yoshis thought process, the recent interview i was referring to was one in which he spoke of blue mage and how it might work at fanfest but i cant find the source right now because its 4am and i don't care to look for it also this is a speculation thread don't get so mad, at the end of the day if you want to believe blue mage is what it means then go ahead that's cool man.

who said i'm mad, i made a one sentence post. People have been saying some very very stupid things when it comes to BLU.... and Yoshi-P's idle musings 3 years ago doesn't mean we aren't getting BLU. Blue Mage has been heavily hinted at in game lore, Yoshi said the next job will be something iconic in line with FF's 30th anniversary(Blue mage/enemy skill/blue magic has been in more FF than RDM/Red magic). BLU is easily the most straight forward guess from the spiderman shirt. I've had to deal with so much "BLU won't work in FFXIV" bull. ALL jobs added to FFXIV have been changed to match the battle system, the mages are scaled down massively in this game (BLM only gets 3 elements, SMN has a chicken nugget for a summon), Yoshi literally just talked about having to change RDM from what he thought it should be to make it fit.

Anyway I watched a bit of the Spider-Man cartoon and the movies , the way Spider-Man moves around the bad guys and how he shoots the web..reminds me of dancer. He literally dances around them and insults lol its great...

To be fair, if he said "I can't really talk about that," or gave any other quick pass it would be a huge red flag for the class. And as long as he states it as his belief he's not speaking for the team and whole of FFXIV.

Spider-Man eluding to DNC... my only hope is they make it feel as far apart from MNK and NIN as possible. If it heals i'll actually be excited since I spend a ton of time /dancing anyway. If its SAM/Shogun... eh, would have preferred a more hype shirt is all.

Good point...however, what about him saying "It (BLU) won't come for a long time" that part confused me as well...>.< and same, if it is indeed DNC I don't want it to be like nin and mnk....that would not be too fun

I don't know, Yoshi seems to be playing into us picking everything he says apart this year. Him making those jokes about the reddit threads kinda leans towards that. While I agree that him dodging talking about SAM/SHO is a bit telling, I am also wondering a bit, that he might be doing that to mess with us. To make us look over towards SAM to distract us from something else. I can't tell, but Yoshi's playing a pretty mean troll game this year.

Before this fan fest I was all in for Sam being a DPS, but after reading your pot and logic - I'm all in for Sam tank. I love reading your post b/c you seem to make the most logic arguments for Sam being a tank. Perhaps the Spider-Man job is related to a possible new healer job no one knows yet - i m hopping for a dancer with whip b/c I can't think of what other healer job it could be.
