So this then discredits the idea of DRK knight being a two handed sword TANK right? I mean we do use magic in conjunction with our blade. As such a Samurai using a sword and purely physical skills as a TANK would be a first.like said no point in add more healer and tank if it don't bring something really new to the table, plus player mostly want to play dps and note my word, we will always end with more dps than tanks and healer, for a good old reason, the number of dps needed in group are often 2-3 time more than tank or healer.
outside this, redmage is not a blade dps, it's mage dps that have a few melee attack, it was said while the key note, using chain magic, before do a melee attack and finish with chain magic, even in the video it's clear, you wee the redmage mix the two, here i'm talking of a pure physical blade class, it's one of the most iconic stuff of the ff franchise and we haven't get one yet, what it's a big let's down.
ps: i highly suspect the red mage to be a piercing dps by the way

There is a very big shortcut there. Ilberd used a kind of magic sword, a spell that is iconic for the Sorcerer/Mystic Knight/Spellblade/Magic Fencer/whatever-name-they-decide-to-give.
But, in FFXI (and only in FFXI), magic swords were given to Red Mage, so people immediately considered that ability a core part of that job, and thus, concluded that Ilberd was hinting at Red Mage.
In the end, yes, we got Red Mage, but it doesn't appear to have anything to do with en-spells.
I guess its Dancer. The strings could mean a whip as weapon.
So you're saying you haven't seen Spider-Man 2, then.
At this point I hope it's Samurai all because of your abysmal taste in superhero films, but also because BLU as anything but a dps sounds awful.
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Raubahn is a Gladiator and have nothing to do with Blue Mage except sharing his name with a FF XI NPCThey're simply tidbits in the game I think could help support BLU in the expansion lol. Considering Raubahn is an Ala Mhigan, I am expecting to see him in the expansion, can't say for certain how big or small his role is, but if it does turn out that the second class is BLU that could mean that he really was one to begin with.

Same is true for Dps. No new Classes ever right?
I'd really like not all Tanks and Healers to get bored with the game and quit because hey "only dps players get new toys why shouldn't I just go dps"
This video neither proves nor disproves anything lol. Because yeah in 1.0 they're going to just make him a "Blue Mage" before the class exists. It's kinda like how Thancred is a bard but he uses knives instead? He didn't always used to dual wield them either. Yeah, Raubahn can't just go into a coliseum match and fight people using BLU powers either? The video I posted earlier of him in the Eorzean Alliance battle shows him both using Ifrit type abilities, and displays the name of his weapon which is very specifically a BLU weapon in XI. So I mean yeah, you can sit and act like there is absolutely nothing at all there, but you're just willingly choosing to not look at what's in front of you. I am not saying he is without a doubt one, but there is certainly a lot there emphasizing that he could be one. To brush that away because he fights like a gladiator in a 1.0 coliseum match seems a bit silly.
