Yeah, cause there is nothing even vaguely similar between the Dreadnaught and the Sweeper.... /sarcasm.
FF games are always referencing older games. That is my point. Its a characteristic of Final Fantasy games.
They're similar in design, yeah, that's probably what the dreadnought was influenced by in Final Fantasy XIII
I'm saying the 3D model used in XIII was used in XIV? Much like XII's mobs were reused in XIV...why is that so hard to understand?

It's clearly the same
Are you saying they should have just made an entirely new model when they had perfectly good models for a call back to an older game? They're similar in design, yeah, that's probably what the dreadnought was influenced by in Final Fantasy XIII

There is a difference between being lazy and being efficiency with resources. Laziness applies that they copied the model so they didn't have to work as hard. Efficiency means using existing resources so you can invest your time into other work.
The Live Letter piece is happening now. Hoping to see the 3.5 trailer and such
That moment you see swimming and diving added, but then realize you're still wearing sandals. /sigh
To answer those asking about FFXII and FFXIII being here...only thing I can think of is the same reason Gilgamesh shows up damn near everywhere, and is the same one from FFV...Void shenanigans. Also, Allag found a way to manipulate Atomos, which is something to keep in mind. Might sound like a cop-out, but it's the closest thing to an explanation I can think of.
Well, with us actually knowing now what the void is it raises questions as to if that is the cause of such incursions. To answer those asking about FFXII and FFXIII being here...only thing I can think of is the same reason Gilgamesh shows up damn near everywhere, and is the same one from FFV...Void shenanigans.
