I kind of find this hilarious because it presumes DPS classes are well balanced among 8 options with the possibility of 11 with how people are pushing. DPS is a mess too. No new DOW or DOM classes. Red Mage needs to be a Crafting Class. Or Gathering Class.Unpopular opinion here, but I hope they DON'T have plans to release any new tanking or healing jobs with Stormblood. The dev team clearly struggled (and is STILL struggling, IMO) to balance the ones we have currently, and I'd much rather they focus their attention on fixing those than creating new wrenches to throw into the mix.

But gatherers and crafters are unbalanced too! Some make more money than others! Red Mage should create a new disciple type and be that (DoS - Disciple of Split-mechanics)!
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
they dont have to balance all 7 at the same time. just balance the same role. BRD with MCH. DRG with MNK and NIN. SMN with BLM (and now RDM)

I admit to being a bit out of touch with the meta, having not played since Savage Gordias. What precisely is the issue with DPS balance ATM? In my experience, Gordias was a bit rough due to it requiring the theoretical DPS best, but I didn't think Midas (and certainly not Creator) were THAT badly tuned. Can you elaborate for me?

They do, because otherwise nothing is stopping people from just not taking a certain role. If melees are too good -> Triple melee + MCH combo. If casters are too good, triple caster + BRD combo. If WARs are too good, replace all DPS with WARs.
So either they need to balance all, or brute-force compositions.
I was thinking that we will be swimming diving and such, would be a perfect time for a new gather like a diver of some type.
