I had hoped asking to keep all the separate threads away and put things in here would help with the thread bloat just a little but.. Guess not ;-;

Well to be honest I'm incline to wait and see.

I'am sorry but "multiple new jobs" is not "2 jobs" for me.

I would wait until we get some confirmation. It could have easily been a typo or the person handling twitter getting the details wrong. Do remember this is the Main SE twitter account so the person making the tweet probably doesn't have any inside info on FF14 and possibly might not even play the game.
That's an argument SE cant win. If they use the same designs they are lazy. If they don't people complain that it doesn't feel Final Fantasy enough. Final Fantasy is very much a brand and people expect iconic references to that brand.

A dreadnought is hardly iconic, they just couldn't be bothered to make new enemies is what the person you're quoting is getting at so they went the cheap and easy and just imported
Where did the pulse text come from then?The Clockwork Knights are created by the Allags. It has nothing to do with FFXIII's world. The same will apply to the Ochu.
Eorzea itself is possibly smaller than FFXII's overall map (if we assume Hume and Hyur's are roughly the same size), which is actually a tiny part of Ivalice itself. Ivalice is too massive to be a part of Hydaelyn.

You realise that has been in a number of FF games. I first faught something like that in FF7.
