I agree. Whole heartedly I agree. Again, SAM could go either way and be fun, personally I would PREFER a DPS SAM but a Tank SAM would be fine too. But I think there are other Jobs that could fit the tank role better. I see your points on how SAM would make more people decide to tank cause "SAM is cool." and concede that.

The other point though, that it needs to be a tank or the tank pool will shrink, I still don't agree with. If the tanking pool is that fickle about it, then making SAM tank would only delay what would essentially be the inevitable, which is that the tanking pool will shrink.

But yes, we need more tanks and healers (Which is why I'm hoping RDM comes out of no where as a tank, or sticks to it's jack of all trades motif and can be all 3 roles. But that would be a bit tricky I think.)

dont worry im not attacking you or something like that, i respect other players opinions, so i concede you opinon about the coment that you dont like bcs i see the same on the dps side, but a little more agresive if i can say that.

about what you say of the tank pool will shrink like shippu say i can give you another way to see it, this game is built around the holy trinity, its just more that a balance, every role is a huge pillar how holds FFXIV, if one is to bigger the game suffer for that and if we lost one the game just simple dies.

the tank pillar right know is getting break by WAR, now more that ever whe need a new tank and take and share all the utility betwen all tanks.
