And it's certainly not keeping with the generally accepted meaning of the word (from https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mentor): "Today, we use the word mentor for anyone who is a positive, guiding influence in another (usually younger) person's life.". "Mentors" that feel that way should ponder why they are mentors. Because the attitude on display is an affront and an embarrassment.
