My 2 gil, I think the biggest argument for having this is for an alt. I know you dont NEED to have an alt in this game, but some people like that, different race, gender or a mix of both. Seeing the story stuff on your main is one thing, but having to do it for each alt too is a bit much.
I would love being able to get an alt to say ishguard and not have to do ALLL the post 50 lead up quests.
Hello everyone,
Naoki Yoshida has made a post on the Japanese forums today about a jump potion. We will be working on a translation of said message and will post it in this thread once it is finished. Thank you for your patience!

Lol x) well i will read by respect but i dont care of this jump potion . I will never buy it x)
I hope this jump potions sales will give more money to invest on more better mount, clothes etc. in this game or on futur extensions
Well, according to the FF14 Reddit the rough translation implies it is going ahead. Despite the immense amount of mixed feedback. Though I had a feeling potential profit would trump everything else. The language used from the very start implied they intended to go ahead with it anyway - but maybe that's just me?
If we really get this potion (both versions or only one, doesn't matter) - I am even more grateful that we have PotD and therefore a great way to avoid grouping with random potion users in DF to get our tomes.
PotD - keeping players sane by giving the possibility to avoid DF! Can't wait for Deep Dungeon 2.0!
Isn't PotD a 'Boost Potion Simulator?'
It's easier and more profitable to release a jump potion that costs money than it is to spend resources to fix the MSQ.
We all knew this was going to happen... regardless, I will continue to level traditionally because that's the way I prefer it.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
