If you're gonna ask how a fight works, why not just look it up first?

This has been bugging the hell out of me. If you're gonna make the group spend time walking you through every stage of a fight before we go, why not save us all the time beforehand and just look it up, first? Seriously. I get wanting to go in blind, but this isn't that. It's just laziness!

I generally do for the rouge idea of it. It's just that with some fights and how the guide itself makes the fight look, worse then it is it goes over peoples heads.

Yeah I've watched a guide but I remember about 15% of it.

But yeah it is nice if people have a rough idea of whats going to happen.

Or, some people want to play a video game instead of turning it into a research project. You're expecting everyone else to bend to YOUR playstyle, while refusing to the the same for anyone else.

I get wanting to play the game and all, but in this situation you're asking the group to tell you what to do because you didn't want to look it up yourself. That's kind of lazy.

If I'm going for a trial I havn't done before then I take 3-5 minutes to look up a video guide. Not that big a deal. *shrug*

Yes and no. People asking aren't necessarily looking for a play by play of everything the boss throws at you. Just the basic idea so they don't put meteors in the wrong spot (Ozma) or not run far enough for hard tilts (Sophia EX). I can somewhat appreciate wanting to be surprised by the game mechanics themselves in lieu of having everything spelled out. I, personally, get peeved when people continue to make mistakes after I've explained them or they make extremely basic ones in an EX fight. The one exception, I feel, is Savage. Unless your guide aims to go in blind, you should research those fights due to their challenge. As most people use food and/or pots, it sucks to have it all go to waste.

Oh, no. That I agree with. If I have to give someone an entire outline of the fight, I'll get annoyed since they may as well just have watched a video instead of wasting everyone's time.

And I want to slap people who cry "it's my preferred playstyle!" Well, my preferred method is not carrying you. So... I'll be that much more likely to vote kick.

For one guides on most fights are not allways easy to find and dont explain everything. Also most fights are explained in 2 sentences, so time waisting is minimal.
Last but not least the moment looking up strategies on regular fights becomes a necesity i'd rather quit then continue playing. Waaaaay to hardcore.

MrHappy generally has his guides up within the first week of release and Mizzteq isn't far behind. If you type any fight into Youtube, you'll get them both top of the list. They aren't always perfect, but it's something to go off of.
