I'm sorry to say, but the way SCH is you'll always end up being the off-healer.

SCH branches off a DPS classes so it has a large number of DPS abilities, with a good number of utility options. This coupled with the fact that they have a fairy that doesn't get effected by your own GCD or Cleric Stance, you have a perfect Job to take up the role as a DPS/Healer. Not saying that SCH aren't good at healing, they are, but the are the best in the off-healer role. It's like WAR. WAR are really good as the MT, but they make the best OT.

If you want the heal I would suggest looking at AST or WHM.
