The tiniest lala.
I have yet to be proven wrong. At the very least, I'm weighing my own personal experience of being a polite and helpful PvPer and playing with/against other polite, helpful players versus a negative statement made with no supporting evidence or explanation. And I do speak of some Balmung players when I say that. Not all of them, as I did say before that there are bad apples. Not everyone's going to be nice, and plenty of people sometimes just have a bad day, or a bad party. But that's far from exclusive to PvP and we all know this.
So I again ask for explanation of what makes it so toxic that "they don't deserve any rewards"?
It's not a "time restriction", it's a PRIZE in a competition. Seriously, in any other medium people would be like "wow congratulations for being the best at pvp" when they show off their mount (like when you see people with the A12 mount in the first few weeks), but instead it's a "time restriction" because everything has to be selfish in this game.
Here's an idea, if you want it so bad, do the content. If you don't get it big deal - the guy who did will enjoy the trophy very much, because it is what the prize is designed for.
Besides, the chances are that they will figure out a way to put them back into circulation in stormblood, as they have done with many other pieces of content (hell, they screw over crafters in every patch these days)

This sums up how I feel.
If everyone who won x number of matches during the third Feast season was awarded the rewards, if there was a non-seasonal way to obtain them later down the road (Wolf Marks), or if the rewards were the same every season, then fewer people would be against it. Any of those options would be much more in line with the way the game has done exclusivity until now.
I collect mounts and minions and I know it will be impossible for me to get them this season in PVP. I would like some option down the road to be able to obtain them.
Time to get my Feast on then so I can taste the floor… fml. I’m a crafter, not a fighter D:
if you want me you'll find me in the eye of the storm
That is actually so false. People have actually complained that too many people STOP playing when they get into the top 100 because it's safe to do so.
Don't comment on what you obviously don't know, especially since you probably have never tried.
