Even the Standard PS4 is a limitation for this game, if the Pro was the Standard release then it would be another story.

I have a GTX1080 and it goes to 40s in towns, so yeah no way a Pro can run this game at 60FPS, let alone the Standard PS4.

Oh! Did you buy a ps4 pro before the release date and tried it ? Not sure how you can say all that when the system is not even out but okay.

The GTX1080 can play games at 4k60FPS, the Pro can play games at 4k30FPS. No Need to be a genius to realize the Pro isn't very good.

Well the human eye can only track up to 60 fps. Any higher framerate and you won't notice the difference unless you have better than 20/20 vision.

Complete and utterly wrong.

Human eyes don't see in frames per second.
The higher the framerate, the smoother it will look regardless.

I sometimes wonder if it would be better to play the game on my gaming laptop (MSI GE62 6QD Apache Pro) or on my PS4. I'm unfortunately not too computer savvy, but I do know for one that it was not a smart decision to spend thousands on getting the new generation consoles and a gaming laptop instead of building a monster PC.

FPS is terrible on PC too, that's just how it always is in cities in MMO's.

Thanks, that's explains that the PS4 is also limiting the game.

Only as much as a PC do that was build during 2014.
There is still many air upwards on PS4. The current client don't push the PS4 on it's limit.

Not really, in 2014 the GTX970 and 980 were released, and the 970 alone was already capable of running the game at 50FPS in towns and 1440p.

Probably almost none because the limitation is on the CPU, not the Graphics Card.

Same goes for higher resolution on smaller screens, the eye can only resolve so much, so unless you sit unreasonably close, or have an unreasonably large screen, there is little effective difference between full HD and 4K, even less so while in motion.
