    Stop excusing crappy design.

No. The point of playing games is to have fun.
Yes, it is really fun just having everything unlocked from the start, No work, no story, just get straight to the point, that is self is indeed crappy design, and i am confident in saying that if the game was caterd to mind sets like yours, this game would have died twice, and very quickly. Who likes stories is subjective. and certainly you thinking it's a "crappy design" is also very subjective. But this game is based on story, Deal with it. or go somewhere else.

Like how we have gill sellers because despite the fact gill is really easy to make in this game and it's not even NEEDED for progression, people still buy it, in large quantities because they do not like working for anything, No matter how easy it is, this includes taking some time to go through a story.

    Lol.

Yes, it is GREAT fun to be able to play the class I want to play upon creating a character and not have to suffer through weeks and weeks of WASTING xp on a class I do NOT want to play just to access the class I do - and then, as a result, not have enough XP via quests to cap the class I want and be forced to do mindless grinding instead.

But please, point out where I have EVER asked to be ported to end-game immediately. I'll be waiting, because you won't be able to find it.

You must be new to this game, or any RPG for that matter, if you had no fun with any of the 1st, basic jobs then you obviously did not enjoy this game to begin with, but it's almost a moot point because this game follows a trinity system, tank/healer/dps, are you saying only a specific one of those classes are the only ones you would "enjoy"? to the point you don't want to ever touch any others but the exact extra jobs, that start at level 30 only?

But please, point out where I have EVER asked to be ported to end-game immediately. I'll be waiting, because you won't be able to find it.
Never said you did, May want to try reading the post again, instead of just quoting and trying very poorly i might add to look as smug as possible. Did you mistake "having all jobs at start" from "endgame"?

lol What? I have no bone in this fight, but unless I am misunderstanding this comment...

There are masses of players who wait until certain classes come out before they play, as the launch choices don't peak their interest (who then go on to enjoy their game experience with the class they want).

You mean people wait for classes they have no clue if they ever will be added? so we have someone waiting on a geomancer that may come in patch 7.0? wow, That is what i call a fairweatherfan. Who the hell lives like that.

Yes. Some people wouldn't play FFXIV until Dark Knight came out (or a gun class)... and then were disappointed when they found out they could not play DRK unless they got one Job hey don't care about to 50 and finished ARR and BtF (by then the Job possibly being around level 52-54) and then had to go back to level 30 and spam dungeons/FATEs, as there was most likely no quests available because of the Job they didn't care about using them all.

Don't be daft. If someone sees that Red Mage is coming out but don't want to play something else, or in the case of something like Black Desert where players know a year in advance about a class they want; yes, they do and will wait. That in NO WAY means they inherently don't or wont like the game. Hello?

Turn down your smug meter a little bit, My entire point was that it's a really silly reason to only play a game just because you're waiting for a certain job that you have no idea how it will play, Playing a game for a very specific class is honestly pretty silly.

Did you know i actually loved bard in FFXI? it was a support job, when i heard it was going to be in 14 i was pretty excited, To my dismay it played NOTHING like it did in FFXI, it has similar "names" but that was about it. didn't stop me from playing this. You only set your self up to be dissapointed if you are only looking for one job without knowing how it will play. There was so much salt after DRK was released. because NO one expected it to be a tank.
