The only real change that vote abandon needs now is for the instance to not terminate itself when a vote passes. It's really irritating that other people who want to continue have to get forced out by people that don't.

They've already implemented some measure that prevents someone from just calling another vote abandon right after one is rejected (I'm not sure what the "cooldown" on it is now, but I've just noticed that there is one) so it would seem they've addressed the other persisting problem that there was with it.
