Then what is the meaning of your message "learn the language"? If you realize that middle knowledge is not enough, and spend time learning professional few will.

It is not as simple as you think, even if they wouldn't take on Russian voice actors to do the spoken cutscenes it would still take several translators several weeks to properly translate the storylines of all the quests, missions and let's not forget the little lines of text spoken by the npc's, item descriptions and probably plenty of other things I am forgetting to mention.
We're literally speaking millions upon millions lines of text.

Not to forget that many of the jokes and puns also need to be properly interpreted to make sense in the local language, especially those containing cultural references.

It's not that I don't support your wish, but unless you either present SE with thousands of Russian players wishing for a Russian version of the game, or a company willing to invest in a local version don't count on it happening.
You'll have more success learning either English, German, French or Japanese.

Let's look at things positively. Once again, we are talking only about translating texts. A team of professional people easily translate the text literally for 2 months. With increasing monthly fees for the game, the developers will get income which you can use for the cost of translation.
    No difficulties here, no.

I'm a Russian player and I join those who don't want any translation.
There are just too many things that are nearly or completely impossible to keep the same way as they were originally. Especially jokes, puns and words from "old English" which I actually enjoy to learn and be able to understand.
Also English is an international language. So I agree with Trotsky - it's worth learning the language.
If there is something confusing - google it and here you go, you learned something new. And slowly you'll start understanding it. Besides, most dialogs in this game are not on the "professional" level and quite easy to understand imo.

Also being able to understand English is nice for communicating with English community.

So far this is the first time I see someone from Russian community asking for a translation. Everyone else seems perfectly fine the way it is.

If you can't be bothered to properly learn english why should I pay for your laziness?
I also must say that russian game localizations are varing from bad to horrible and I don't want this fate for FFVIX.
And if for some reason you don't want to learn english you have 3 more languages to choose from.
Instead of complaining you can open some online dictionary and start expanding your vocabulary like many of us did. When I was learning I did not have modern conveniences like online translators, just plain old books, so no pity for you. Sorry if it sounds harsh.

Not everyone has a talent for learning a foreign language. I studied German for eight years in high school and college, and would still go cross-eyed if I tried to play this game in that language.

Saying "Lern 2 English" is simply not fair.

That said, whether or not SE provides a Russian translation depends, as folks have said, as to whether the profits will be worth the cost.

For the Russians in this thread who are claiming that valuable context will be lost if the game is translated from English - remember that the English is ALREADY a localization from the original Japanese. While many names and terms were created in English (because English is a "cool" language in Japan), the scripts, dialog, and storyline were all created in Japanese. This is a Japanese game, and the English is a localization. If you enjoy the English localization, why are you so certain that you would not enjoy the Russian localization?

Square Enix didn't translate the game into English, French, German or Japanese. The game script was concurrently written in those four languages. They receive a basic script and then each team writes various pieces and the localize together. It is internal to Square Enix. That is also why the game patches are not delayed between countries.

As was said earlier, that's also the reason the China and Korea versions are delayed. They are hosted and translated by third party companies.

Typically, the English language version has a lot more nuances than the other versions. It can definitely be more difficult to pick up the important details when even some English speakers don't understand what is being referenced. (This was mostly seen with dialogue from Midgardsormr).
