Conversations like this tend to get lost on so many people, because many millennials really don't understand economics. Lot of Bernie Sanders socialists running around in the gaming world, and they dont understand the value of currency or rules of economics. Kinda how they want Free college, Free healthcare, some even demand free housing, but also want to be paid $15/hour to make a cheeseburger; and they want the government to mandate this from the top down. The fact is the in game economy is set by supply and demand. Why is something 3,000 gil instead of 2,000 gil? Because its worth 3,000 gil. Why dont I sell it at 2,000 gil to help you out? Because its worth 3,000 gil. You arent going to see a market where things sell below cost of production. If you're unhappy with the economy on a server, you should just switch servers, OR, you know, actually insert yourself into that market and make profits yourself. There are many factors that govern why something may be more expensive on one server than on another, but it always boils down to the same basic economic principles.
