    Sad to admit it but you're right. I am one who references FFXI SMN so I have to admit, I would love to have Titan come out raise both his fists and slam the ground killing a large pack. You're right, there is no place for this, not just from XI but, across the series. The trances are a good style, for those primals I feel we shouldn't have the ability to summon but can at least tap into some of their power. With the way things are set up (Trinity System, major focus on DPS over Enfeebling / Party Enhancement) do you think they a lot room to add something in that isn't just a re-skinned version of what's already there? If not, would it be best to only go so far with what is added for nostalgia purposes? I have no idea..

    Hopefully trances give you the thing you desire in terms of variety, but it's not looking good. The QoL changes that they got in 3.0 make them much more fun to use (imo) but unless trances become more involved, we're probably just going to see more DoT related things. Here's hoping we get more variety than that, but only Yoshi-p knows for sure.
