By the way, did anyone get any of the lyrics from Sophia music and Alexander new music besides of "forward and back"? Sophia theme has an awesome Bayonetta feeling to it.

Its been pointed out that a VERY short cut is show of a shadow'd character in Dragoon armor is caught be Edgelander's chains. This is all but certainly Derplander, with the briefness being so they don't have to deal with Derp and Edge being the same person...for now. Personally I'm still all on the "alternate dimension" explanation.

Except Derplander in that cutscene will be substituted with our own WoL when we actually play, as is always the case. Derplander is just the generic story character used to represent the player.

The reason the WoDs look like Derplander and his party is because they are a dark reflection of ourselves. They couldn't have them literally be dark copies of our own characters though because that would cause all kinds of problems for voice acting and cutscenes. Instead they chose to give them a static appearance based on the characters that were already representative of us: Derplander and his party.

People really need to stop viewing Derplander as a canon character. He is us!

This is what I've got for Sophia thus far. I posted it on reply 240-something of this thread if you want my thoughts on it. As far as Alexander's new theme, it's pretty much repeating what you said, with the occasional "And put one foot forward" along with "Transcend (time?)" at the very end of the clip. Another voice comes in as it fades out, though.

Also, is that a naked woman breastfeeding in the bottom left of the third one? o.O

I edited the 3rd pic ... don't wanna get banned. But yeah I got the images via google. The 3rd image was one of many different images of "goddess sophia" and it's interesting how this iteration of Sophia is closer to the many other images of the goddess

Actually, listening to the English version again, I think they listened to popular demand and brought back Gideon Emery (who should never have been replaced). Not 100% sure, though.

I actually thought that it was the former Count Fortemps speaking. I don't remember either Urianger's new VA, or Gideon Emery, sounding like that.

I'm just gonna say I was kind of disappointed they replaced the EN voice cast at all, cuz 2.0 was pretty bad but the improvements in their performances over 2.x was very enjoyable, and leave it at that before it turns into a conflagration again.

I figured it was Urianger anyway; he's only had like 2 lines of spoken dialogue since the end of 2.x (when he gave you the White Auracite before your trip to Azys Lla), so that they'd use a temp in place of getting him properly recast is far from surprising. Sure hope he doesn't betray us... I've had it up to here with traitors making excuses for their betrayals what with Rachel Claudius in God Eater 2...
